McKibbin fired a three-under 69 in the final round at LIV Golf Dallas to finish in a four-way tie for fifth.
ANALYSIS
The Northern Irishman was two-under heading into the final round, and he found himself near the top of the leaderboard after carding three consecutive birdies from holes 13 to 15. He wasn't able to make that push over the final five holes, however, and his putt on the par-5 fifth was inches away from earning him a spot in a playoff. It was a nice bounce-back performance for McKibbin, who finished T34 or worse in each of the three LIV Golf tournaments prior to Dallas. He sits 22nd in the individual standings with 44.13 points heading into LIV Golf Andalucia starting July 11.
