ANALYSIS
Schauffele's rib injury dates back to a pre-season workout towards the end of 2024 according to Gabby Herzig of The Athletic. It's an acute intercostal strain/micro tear on his right side. Schauffele tried to play through the injury at The Sentry the first week in January to limited to success with a T30 finish. Schauffele has been cleared to take full swings again after weeks of rest and barring any setbacks will hope to return to action in his hometown of San Diego at the third Signature Event of 2025.
