Analysis
Tejeda suffered the injury at some point during Tampa's doubleheader with Lakeland on July 5 and was placed on the 7-day IL two days later. After further evaluation, the Yankees evidently determined that Tejada wasn't on track to heal from the injury in time to play again in 2024. He'll finish the season with a .315/.355/.381 slash line to go with one home run and 22 stolen bases over 183 plate appearances with Tampa.
