Nabs minors deal from Angels
Holloway made his season debut Tuesday with the Angels' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate, striking out two while giving up one hit and one walk over a scoreless inning.

Holloway signed a minor-league deal with the Angels on April 23 and has spent the last two weeks ramping up in Arizona. After making an appearance in the ACL, Holloway has since been moved to Double-A Rocket City, where he will give the Halos some experienced relief depth. The 28-year-old last appeared in the majors with the Marlins in 2022 and has posted a 3.92 ERA and 38:28 K:BB across 39 frames at the big-league level.
