ANALYSIS
A seventh-round pick in 2014, Dykstra was essentially a league average hitter (101 wRC+) in the Sally League last season as a 20-year-old, although he hit zero home runs in 81 games. He is excellent at making contact (9.1 percent strikeout rate), but he has yet to show any patience at the plate (1.8 percent walk rate). As a second baseman, he really needs to hit to profile as a regular, and so far he has come up short in that department.
