Analysis
Salinas is in the midst of his recovery from shoulder surgery and not expected to be ready to pitch in games until August. The 23-year-old spent the bulk of the 2024 campaign at Double-A Midland in the Athletics organization, posting a 3.68 ERA across 36.2 innings. After being claimed off waivers by Atlanta in November and then getting non-tendered, Salinas re-upped with Atlanta on a minor-league deal. Once healthy, Salinas will likely report to either Triple-A Gwinnett or Double-A Columbus.
