Hayes is expected to be sidelined 2-to-3 weeks after aggravating a sprained right ankle in Tuesday's 127-100 loss to the Suns,
Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSISAfter initially spraining his ankle during a Nov. 10 game against the Raptors, Hayes missed six straight games before returning to action Tuesday. He played 17 minutes and tallied seven points, four rebounds and one steal against the Suns, but he tweaked his ankle at some point along the way and now looks set to be sidelined until at least mid-December. While Hayes is on the mend from the ankle injury,
Christian Koloko will likely settle back in as the primary backup to starting center
Anthony Davis.
