Jerry Cross Injury: Suffered injury in spring game

Cross suffered an undisclosed injury during the spring game, according to Jonah Dylan of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

The nature of Thompson's injury is unclear, and it's hard to project whether he'll be available for the Tigers' first game of the season against UT-Chattanooga on Saturday, Aug. 30. If he's unable to play, then Christian Ross and Luke Logan would be the next in line to see snaps at tight end.
