Gibson carried nine times for 40 yards and nabbed a one-yard reception Saturday in New Mexico State's 42-28 loss to Central Michigan.
ANALYSIS
Gibson's 10 touches were just two off the season-high total he established in Week 2 against Alabama, but there isn't much fantasy utility in playing second fiddle at running back for an 0-7 squad. The senior has yet to reach the end zone this season and isn't likely to see a notable uptick in volume in the running or passing game while Jason Huntley remains entrenched as New Mexico State's top back.
