D'Andre Swift
Running BackRB
Georgia Bulldogs
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Swift may seem like the heir apparent to take up the mantle of Georgia's next big-time back, but context is needed her. Yes, Georgia will have a strong run game and yes Swift showed plenty of promise as a freshman; however, there are several mouths to feed in Athens. Georgia's backfield is loaded to where it doesn't need to lean on one back for all of its production. Elijah Holyfield, Brian Herrien, and even freshman Zamir White will all command carries to spell Swift. Still, Swift is lined up to be Georgia's starter and will be running behind one of the top offensive lines in the nation. Swift projects as one of the SEC's top rushers even if he doesn't see true workhorse volume. Read Past Outlooks
Two scores against Crimson Tide
RBGeorgia
December 3, 2018
Swift rushed 16 times fro 75 yards and a touchdown with six catches on eight targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's loss to Alabama.
ANALYSIS
With Alabama bottling him up in the ground game, Swift became a weapon in the passing attack and set a new season-best in catches and receiving yards while also scoring his second receiving touchdown of the year. When combined, his 138 yards from scrimmage made it the fifth time in the past six games he was able to top the century mark. The loss knocked Georgia from the College Football Playoff and instead they will face Texas at the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day.
