Amari Rodgers
Wide ReceiverWR
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Rodgers' experience, paired with a down 2019 season, could have him being a bargain at WR as a senior. Rodgers caught only 30 passes as a junior, fourth amongst his teammates, but did surface for 55 catches as a sophomore. He figures to have more chances in 2020 following Tee Higgins' NFL departure, and Justyn Ross' season-ending neck injury, as those two combined for 125 catches, 2,032 yards and 21 touchdowns. Rodgers' 5-foot-10 frame has him better suited to operate over the middle of the field, in stark contrast to 6-foot-3 emerging sophomores Joe Ngata and Frank Ladson. A steady volume of short and intermediate throws weekly should keep Rodgers' floor safe, though the yardage and scoring upside likely rests elsewhere in the Tigers passing attack. Read Past Outlooks
Big senior season
January 1, 2021
Rodgers has 69 catches for 966 yards and seven touchdowns on 92 targets this season.
ANALYSIS
Rodgers has been the most consistent Clemson receiver, leading the team in every major receiving category. He works the short and intermediate parts of the field but can also get downfield for explosive plays. He will face Ohio State in the College Football Playoff on Friday.
