Rushes all over Eagles
January 3, 2020
Ridder went 14-for-24 with 95 yards and a touchdown while rushing 21 times for 105 yards and three touchdowns in Thursday's Birmingham Bowl over Boston College.
ANALYSIS
Cincinnati's rushing attack was never contained by the Eagles, allowing Ridder to show his rushing prowess and take the pressure of his arms. It was the second time this year the sophomore signal caller rushed for over 100 yards, with the other coming in Week 10 against ECU. Although he led Cincinnati to their first ever back-to-back 11-win back-to-back seasons, there's reasons to be concerned for his fantasy value after he averaged only 117.0 passing yards over his final four games.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Ridder was a breakout star in 2018, accounting for 25 total touchdowns and 3,028 total yards in his first season as a starter. He returns to the helm of one of the more up-tempo offenses in the nation (76.2 plays per game) that leans heavily on the run. Ridder and running back Michael Warren II combine to make one of the nation’s most dangerous rushing tandems, and Warren’s presence helps loosen rushing lanes for Ridder. His biggest challenge will be finding a new top target after losing Kahlil Lewis, who had a 26 percent target share in 2018.
