Heads to junior college ranks
Mitchell (knee) will suit up for Fort Scott Community College (Kan.) during the 2018 season, Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Fort Scott head coach Kale Pick announced last week that Mitchell signed with the junior college program after being dismissed by Rutgers last fall. Mitchell, who began his college career at Michigan before transferring closer to his home state of New Jersey, will have one season of eligibility remaining after the 2018 campaign concludes. If he fares well at Fort Scott this season, he could look to return to an FBS school in 2019.
