Back in transfer portal
Malloy entered the transfer portal Tuesday and is expected to leave Coastal Carolina as a graduate transfer, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The running back signed with Georgia Tech coming out of high school in 2018, but he left the program following the 2019 campaign after accruing 11 carries for 59 yards over his two seasons in Atlanta. He then joined Coastal Carolina ahead of the 2020 season, sitting out that year in accordance with the NCAA's old transfer rule. He made his debut for the Chanticleers in 2021, carrying 11 times for 72 yards and adding two receptions for nine yards. Since he'll be leaving Coastal Carolina with his degree, Malloy will be able to compete immediately at his next school in 2022 with two years of eligibility at his disposal.
