Transfers to Illinois State
Blackman confirmed Monday that he would transfer from Virginia to Illinois State, Randy Reinhardt of The Bloomington Pantagraph reports.
ANALYSIS
A receiver recruit from the Class of 2016, Blackman didn't log a single reception during his three years in Charlottesville. He's appeared in 15 career games for Virginia mostly in a special-teams role and missed the entire 2017 campaign due to injury. By moving down to the FCS ranks, Blackman will be able to play right away in 2019 and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
