Aston Martin have officially confirmed that reserve driver Drugovich will get the call-up to race for the team in next week's Bahrain Grand Prix should
Lance Stroll (wrist) not be able to compete, having sustained a wrist injury in a pre-season training accident,

ANALYSIS
Stroll's bicycle training accident has injured his wrist. The injury was bad enough that the Canadian did not take part in this week's Sakhir testing. Drugovich got in some laps in the Aston Martin to prepare. The reigning F2 champion turned in 117 test laps and really got a good feel for the team's car. Should Stroll be unavailable to race in the season-opener next weekend, Drugovich will get the call for what will be his Formula 1 debut.
