Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Porter has established himself as a strong corner over his first two professional seasons, and he should retain a starting job as an outside cornerback in 2025, even after the Steelers brought in Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey. Porter played at least 95 percent of Pittsburgh's defensive snaps in 15 of his 16 regular-season appearances last year and logged 70 tackles (53 solo), an interception and seven pass defenses. Porter will maintain a significant role in Pittsburgh's secondary this year. Read Past Outlooks
Healthy coming off bye
Porter (hamstring) practiced in full Wednesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Porter hasn't suited up for a regular-season game since Week 1, but he appears to have emerged from Pittsburgh's bye in Week 5 fully healthy. The starting cornerback looks set to return to the lineup Sunday against the Browns. That will provide a notable boost for the Steelers' secondary, especially if Jalen Ramsey (hamstring), who is not practicing Wednesday, is unable to play or has his snaps managed.

2023
Porter was a second-round pick by the Steelers last year and showed some promise, appearing in all 17 games and totaling 43 tackles (32 solo), an interception and 10 pass defenses. He was on the field for at least 90 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the final 10 games of the regular season, and he should enter the 2024 campaign as Pittsburgh's top option at cornerback after Patrick Peterson was let go during the offseason.

Could return in Week 4
Porter has a chance to play in Week 4 against the Vikings, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Porter has been sidelined the last two games with a hamstring injury. He wasn't able to practice in any capacity leading into Pittsburgh's Week 3 win over the Patriots, so he'll need to make significant progress to be back Sunday for the Steelers' showdown against Minnesota in Ireland. Porter's status will be even more important, given that Darius Slay is also dealing with a leg injury.
