The Bucs are looking for a veteran QB to replace Rob Johnson (signed by Washington) as a backup to Brad Johnson, and would like to do something before QB orientation sessions begin on March 17. Hoying was with the Raiders when Bucs head coach Jon Gruden was coaching in Oakland.
