Ekuban, who missed the entire 2007 season, will provide depth on the defensive line along with Dewayne Robertson, Jarvis Moss and others.

Ekuban will start at defensive end for the Broncos, where he could see a slight increase in his IDP production under new defensive coordinator Jim Bates. Ekuban had 63 tackles and 7 sacks last season, and we expect those numbers to improve slightly, unless rookie Jarvis Moss takes away some of his playing time.

Ekuban will start at right defensive end, opposite Coutney Brown. The Broncos will be looking for more sacks in 2006, and Ekuban will be one of the guys they expect to step up.

Ekuban gives the team depth at defensive end and could be the primary backup to Courtney Brown at the strongside position.

Ekuban was brought on-board to spell both Courtney Brown and Kenard Lang when they need a rest. Ekuban, who is listed at 6’3”/ 275 lbs, started 15 games for the Cowboys last season. He recorded 2.5 sacks last year - the exact average in his five seasons in the NFL - and 20 solo tackles. Expect the same in 2004.

Ekuban had a miserable 2002, recording just one sack. The Cowboys will be looking to upgrade their pass rush any way they can, and Ekuban is in serious danger of being replaced.
