Gesser pleaded guilty Friday to a drunken driving charge, according to the Associated Press. Gesser was charged after he allegedly ran a red light and failed a sobriety test on Feb. 15, 2004.
ANALYSIS
After his college career at Washington State, Gesser joined the Titans but was released in September. He's expected to try to find a spot in NFL Europe now that his penalties have been decided.

Gesser, the co-Pac 10 player of the year last season, was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent. Steve McNair and Neil O'Donnell have a solid hold on the top two quarterback slots, however, and Gesser is not likely to see much time this season.
