Shelton backs up both tackle spots on the offensive line, but he is not a starter.
The veteran tackle will add some much needed depth to the offensive line.
After struggling at left tackle to begin the 2006 season, Shelton played decently at right guard. He'll move to right tackle in 2007 as part of Cam Cameron's o-line musical chairs.

Shelton was one of the mainstays in a porous offensive line in 2003, but has been replaced by Leonard Davis and enters 2004 as a back-up. Coach Dennis Greene has been making changes in hopes of lighting a few fire or looking for something else. Either way, Shelton makes too much money to be a reserve.
