Slegr, who had surgery on his back in March, scored five goals and added 11 assists for 16 points in 32 games last season with Boston. The 35-year-old Slegr may have played his last game in North America, despite having the requisite skill set for the up-tempo new NHL.

Slegr has an offensive touch which is good enough for him to see some time on the second power-play unit. The rest of his game is somewhat erratic and inconsistent, and his mistakes tend to cost his team. Still, he might get to that magical 30-point level and that means he has some fantasy value. In a later round, of course.
