Ponce scored two goals to go with three shots (three on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 4-3 victory over San Diego FC.

Ponce converted a PK in the 87th minute to give Houston the 3-3 equalizer before scoring again during stoppage time to seal the road win. The forward now has seven goals in the season. He also led his side in shots as usual during the match.
