Hjelde will miss the start of the 2025/26 season while rehabbing from an Achilles injury, the club announced Friday.

Hjelde is expected to miss the club's opening three Premier League fixtures against West Ham United, Burnley and Brentford. However, the best-case scenario would be to have him back in the squad after the September international break.
