Elliot made his debut in the draw and it was anything but eventful. The defender struggled to hold his own and he did not provide any sort of offensive support from the flank. Not only did he have very little in terms of tackles or interceptions, but he also fouled three times and accumulated a yellow card. After not making an appearance in the first two matches of the group stage, it would be a surprise to see him make the starting XI in the first match of the knockout stage.
