Hakan Sukur

The chances of the Turkish star to stay with Rovers next season have severely diminished after he revealed that he has had problems with manager Graeme Souness dating back to the Manchester United loss on April 19th. Sukur also claims that he has been pondering over deals from Turkish clubs, with the hopes of retiring in his home country.

Sukur will be starting up front with Andy Cole when Rovers host Charlton on Saturday. He scored twice last Monday when the team won 4-0 at Fulham.

Manager Graeme Souness has tentatively announced that Sukur will make his Blackburn debut when Rovers host Man United on December 22nd. He would be available this weekend, but is still not at 100% with a hernia problem.

Sukur, a star in Turkey, has signed a contract with English premier league side Blackburn Rovers until next summer, Reuters reports.
