Picks up four-match ban
RPort Adelaide Power
May 11, 2021
Lycett was handed a four-match ban by the Match Review Official after taking down Ned McHenry in Saturday's Round 8 win over Adelaide. An appeal is still being considered by Lycett's club.
Lycett is likely to miss at least a few weeks while his situation is resolved, he didn't contest the assessment of his tackle after giving Ned McHenry a concussion. With the third-most fantasy points of any player for the Power, Lycett's absence will be made up at ruck by Peter Ladhams, who will need to reproduce the same possession stats as Lycett to bridge the gap until his return.

Solid start to season
RPort Adelaide Power
April 9, 2021
Lycett scored one behind to go with 20 disposals (11 kicks, nine handballs) in addition to making six marks and recording 14 hitouts during Friday'ss 79-77 win over Richmond.
Lycett doesn't rank highly among rucks for the traditional hitout and clearance statistics, but has made himself into a versatile piece for any lineup with a more middling price. Now that he's finally topped 100 fantasy points for the first time this season, it will be interesting to see if he takes off from here and improves his numbers even more.

Lycett is no longer plagued by a knee injury, Loukas Founten of the Power's official site reports.
Lycett has been sidelined since July 12 because of the knee issue but is past the knee issue and pushing for a return to the AFL side right away. He has some sizable efforts under his belt from early in the season, racking up 30-plus hitouts on consecutive weeks versus Adelaide and Fremantle in Rounds 2 and 3, but he has been unable to equal those totals since.

Lycett (knee) is slated to play in Thursday's match versus Melbourne, Loukas Founten of the Power's official site reports.
Lycett will miss just one match because of the knee issue, barring a late setback. He has tallied 20-plus hitouts in all but one match so far this season and has some solid efforts under his belt. Although he's slowed a bit recently on the fantasy front, Lycett's past efforts should keep him on the radar
