Suspension
June 8, 2021
Zorko has been handed a one-game suspension for striking during the Round 12 loss to Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Zorko is unfortunately absent for the softest fantasy matchup of the year against North Melbourne, so Lachie Neale and Jarryd Lyons will need to step up in his absence.

Another strong showing in loss
MBrisbane Lions
June 4, 2021
Zorko scored one goal and one behind to go with 22 disposals (13 kicks, nine handballs) in addition to making 10 tackles and six marks during Friday's 97-75 loss to Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Zorko helped his team to a good lead over the first three quarters but the second half went in favor of the 'Dees and sealed the result. As shown by Friday's efforts, Zorko doesn't need to reach 20 disposals each week to put up good fantasy numbers, and his consistency is useful while both Jarryd Lyons and Lachie Neale struggle to play as well each week.
35 disposals in win over GWS
MBrisbane Lions
May 29, 2021
Zorko collected 35 disposals, six marks, six clearances, two goals and a goal assist and tackle each Saturday as Brisbane routed GWS 129-65 at Gabba.
ANALYSIS
Season-highs for both kicks (23) and handballs (12) left Zorko Brisbane's leader in disposals in Saturday night's match and trailing only GWS' Tim Taranto (36) for a game-high. He also registered multiple goals for the first time this year in the victory. The 32 year-old exits the month of May having failed to eclipse 100 fantasy points only once in five showings (he had 82 in a May 9 win over Fremantle) and currently ranked 18th in the AFL for total AFL fantasy score (1128). The midfielder is also currently rated No. 1 for total score involvements (93) in 2021.
28 disposals, four marks in win
MBrisbane Lions
May 21, 2021
Zork earned 28 disposals, six clearances, four marks, two tackles and a goal, goal assist and behind each Friday as Brisbane defeated Richmond 102-74 at Gabba.
ANALYSIS
Zorko paired 17 kicks and a season-high 11 handballs to pace all players in disposals on Friday. He also logged his fourth goal, sixth goal assist and fifth behind in five showings in the victory. The AFL's current leader in total score involvements (81) has now failed to eclipse 100 fantasy points in just two of Brisbane's last eight matches and currently finds himself one of only seven players in the AFL having surpassed 1000 total fantasy points for the year. Notable as well is Zorko's No. 1 ranking for total inside 50s (69) to date and No. 3 for total goal assists (14).
Active in win
MBrisbane Lions
May 15, 2021
Zorko scored one goal and two behinds to go with 34 disposals (23 kicks, 11 handballs) in addition to making nine marks during Saturday's 124-51 win over Gold Coast.
ANALYSIS
Zorko is often less consistent than a true midfielder but his quality was on display in Round 9 as he scored over 100 fantasy points for the fourth time in five weeks and set a new season-high for disposals in a game. The schedule will get a little tougher over the next month for Zorko, so be careful with his matchup before considering him for selection.
Game-high 11 tackles v. Carlton
MBrisbane Lions
April 24, 2021
Zorko netted 20 disposals, 11 tackles, eight clearances and a goal and behind each Saturday as Brisbane downed Carlton 103-85 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Zorko recorded his best tackle total since a 2019 showing versus Adelaide and logged his sixth-straight appearance with at least 20 disposals in Saturday's win. The 32 year-old also put a season-high for clearances in the victory. Zorko has now topped 100 fantasy points in each of his last two showings and four times on the year, yet still trails Jarryd Lyons, Hugh McCluggage and Daniel Rich as Brisbane's leader in fantasy score per game. Little doubt he'll make up lost ground heading into the month of May, however, particularly if he can remain the AFL's leader for inside 50s and clangers and stay within the top five in the league for total tackles.
