Knee - ACL
April 5, 2021
Witts (knee) has been ruled out for the season with a ruptured ACL, 7 AFL reports.

Knee
April 2, 2021
Witts left Friday's match versus Adelaide in the third term due to a knee injury, the AFL's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Witts showed some promise in Round 2 by tallying 33 hitouts, 10 kicks and nine handballs and was on his way to another strong showing Friday prior to his injury. It's unclear at this point how much time the ruck will miss because of the issue.
Collects 21 hitouts in loss
RGold Coast Suns
August 21, 2020
Witts tallied nine disposals (five kicks, four handballs) and two tackles in Friday's 60-27 loss to Carlton.
ANALYSIS
Witts topped the hitout count during Friday's loss but offered little else during a somewhat uninspiring performance. Currently sitting second across the league when it comes to total hitouts, Witts has been a solid presence in the middle for the Suns. The team has failed to win a game in over a month and is unlikely to feature in the finals despite a positive start to the campaign.
Struggles in loss
RGold Coast Suns
August 2, 2020
Witts logged 23 hitouts and seven disposals during Sunday's 61-35 loss to Greater Western Sydney Giants.
ANALYSIS
Witts and the rest his team struggled mightily despite facing a Giants team that didn't play much better themselves. Witts has reached as high as 46 disposals in a match this season, but also logged as low as 18. His consistency is something to keep an eye on during the coming contests.
Leader of the pack Thursday
RGold Coast Suns
July 24, 2020
Witts accumulated seven disposals (two kicks, five handballs), three tackles and two marks in Thursday's 51-46 loss to the Bulldogs.
ANALYSIS
Witts defied the wet conditions to rack up a career-high 46 hitouts, continuing to stamp his authority on the ruck position. Unfortunately, it came in a losing effort for the Suns as they struggled with their accuracy in front of goal. The hitout numbers are simply fantastic and if Witts can lift his production across the field, he could certainly emerge as one of the elite ruckmen this season.
