Brodie Grundy
Finishes season as top ruck
RCollingwood Magpies
September 21, 2020
Grundy collected 18 disposals (five kicks, 13 handballs) and completed 36 hitouts during Monday's 61-45 loss to Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Grundy finishes the season as the league leader in hitouts to complete both a productive and reliable campaign for the Magpies. Even if his team makes a few mistakes, Grundy should have no problems continuing to play well in the elimination final against West Coast Eagles.

Another strong performance in loss
RCollingwood Magpies
August 3, 2020
Grundy rounded out with 11 disposals (seven kicks, four handballs), five marks, two tackles and one goal in Sunday's 61-49 loss to the Dockers.
ANALYSIS
Grundy dominated the ruck again Saturday, racking up a game-high 43 hitouts. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as the Pies fell to what was an unexpected loss against a plucky Fremantle side. Grundy is certainly one of the elite ruckmen in the league and there is no reason to think he won't be able to keep up this kind of production for the remainder of the season.
Bangs 46 hitouts
RCollingwood Magpies
July 16, 2020
Grundy logged 46 hitouts to go with 17 disposals (10 kicks, seven handballs) and five marks during Thursday's 57-35 win over Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Grundy played a key role in shutting down the majority the Cats, who had one of their least productive outings of the season. In such a dynamic team, Grundy has made a big difference through his league best hitout numbers.
Staying hot despite loss
RCollingwood Magpies
July 3, 2020
Grundy made 37 hitouts to go with 10 clearances and six tackles in addition to logging 20 disposals (seven kicks, 13 handballs) during Friday's 63-48 loss to Essendon.
ANALYSIS
Grundy holds no hostages as he continues to dominate rucks across the game, though he was unable to keep his team afloat after they lost their early lead. With Steele Sidebottom suspended and Jeremy Howe out with a knee injury, Grundy could become even more important to the Magpies than he already is.
Even better in win
RCollingwood Magpies
June 20, 2020
Grundy collected 20 disposals (five kicks, 15 handballs) and made 31 hitouts during Saturday's 81-37 win over St. Kilda.
ANALYSIS
Grundy was dealing with an injury in Round 2 but was stellar in this match as his team continued to dominate. With the second-most hitouts in the league, Grundy ranks as a top option as one of the few rucks to produce a well-rounded stat line.
Stands tall despite injury concern
RCollingwood Magpies
June 11, 2020
Grundy totaled 15 disposals (seven kicks, eight handballs), four marks, one tackle, and zero scoring shots during Thursday's 36-all draw with Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Grundy appeared to suffer an injury to his right side and was seen receiving treatment during the first-quarter break. Despite the inconvenience, Grundy managed to play out the game, racking up 33 hit-outs to go with his 15 disposals. Grundy is not averse to injuries and the Magpies will be hoping this was nothing more than a minor scare for the star ruckman.
