Brown came by eight disposals, seven marks, five hitouts, three goals, two tackles and a single goal assist Monday as Melbourne edged out West Coast 72-63 at Optus Stadium.
Brown failed to post double-digit disposals for the first time in six showings, but set a season-high for marks and hitouts while also pacing all players for majors on Monday. The 28 year-old has now recorded multiple majors in each of Melbourne's last three outings and heads into Round 22 the Demons' No. 5 for total goals on the year (15).

Brown collected 12 disposals, six marks, four goals, two tackles and hitouts each and a single behind Saturday as Melbourne downed Gold Coast 128-30 at Marvel Stadium.
Brown produced at a high-level on Saturday, matching season-highs for kicks (10), disposals and marks and registering his best goal, hitout and fantasy score (88 points) aggregates of 2021. The 28 year-old heads into a Round 21 match-up with West Coast having played in just six games this year season, but each of Melbourne's last four, the latter in which he's averaged 11.25 touches, 5.5 marks, 1.75 majors, 1.25 behinds and two tackles a showing.

Contrary to a previous report, Brown (heel) will play in Round 17 versus Port Adelaide, Riley Beverdige of reports.
Brown was expected to be out this week, but his heel injury has clearly improved faster than expected. The forward has only drawn into two matches this season, but he's averaged just 38.5 fantasy points across those appearances, which both came in May.

Brown (heel) won't play in Round 17 against Port Adelaide, the team announced.
Brown's heel injury is only expected to sideline him for one-to-two weeks, so there's a chance he could return towards the end of the month. As things stand now, it's best to treat him as questionable ahead of Round 18 with an eye towards a full return in Round 19.

Brown's debut with the Demons will come versus North Melbourne. During the 2020 season, Brown averaged 6.9 disposals, 0.9 goals and 0.9 behinds across nine appearances.

Brown may not return to the AFL side immediately, but he's not far away from getting back to full fitness. He'll need to improve in 2021 to be worth attention for fantasy.
