June 20, 2020
Heeney scored one goal and made 18 disposals (12 kicks, six handballs) in addition to logging eight marks during Saturday's 71-60 win over North Melbourne.
Heeney performed much better in Round 3 after not doing much in the restart. He'll next lineup against a Western Bulldogs club that has won both Rounds in June.
Slated for main forward role
FSydney Swans
June 2, 2020
Heeney is expected to take over as the main forward for Sydney with Lance Franklin (hamstring) slated for an extended absence, Nic Negrepontis of SEN 1116 reports.
Heeney got off to an exciting start with four goals, 16 disposals, 12 kicks and five marks against Adelaide and figures to move into an even brighter spotlight moving forward. Still just 24, Heeney should have a bright future ahead and is positioned to be a major contributor for the Swans in 2020.
