June 12, 2021
Steele logged 34 disposals (20 kicks, 14 handballs) and made 12 tackles during Saturday's 66-60 loss to Adelaide in Round 13.
Steele has led his team in scoring in two straight weeks and scored over 130 fantasy points on each occasion. With only two games below 100 points scored since Round 2, Steele should warrant plenty of attention even as the Saints struggle to win games.

Top fantasy score in loss to Swans
MSt Kilda Saints
June 5, 2021
Steele produced 31 disposals, nine tackles, eight clearances, five marks and a single goal Saturday as St. Kilda fell to Sydney 92-83 at SCG.
Steele put up a career-high tying 18 kicks and a season-best eight clearances and finished the match leader in tackles and clearances in Saturday's contest. The 25 year-old also scored his first goal since May 14 and ninth on the year in the defeat. He exits the first week of June not only having manufactured his best fantasy output of 2021 (137 points), but too topping 100 points in four of St. Kilda's last five match-ups. As such, Steele now finds himself the league's 1th most-productive option for selection at midfielder and tied with Essendon's Zachary Merrett as the No. 11 for average fantasy score (111.2) in the AFL.
Makes 11 tackles in loss
MSt Kilda Saints
May 14, 2021
Steele scored one goal, logged 23 disposals (14 kicks, nine handballs) and made 11 tackles during Friday's 68-47 loss to Geelong in Round 9.
Steele has only scored less than 100 fantasy points on two occasions all season and even a mistake-filled loss to the Cats couldn't stop his productive season. As his 23 disposals in this game were his lowest since Round 2, there shouldn't be too much to worry about with Steele no matter how tough of an opponent he's facing.
Matches career-high 18 kicks in win
MSt Kilda Saints
May 8, 2021
Steele accumulated 27 disposals, eight tackles, seven marks, six clearances, two goals and a single behind Friday as St. Kilda outplayed Gold Coast 63-54 at Metricon Stadium.
A career-high tying 18 kicks found Steele finishing Friday's contest one of five St. Kilda players having collected 25 or more disposals versus Gold Coast, while his eight tackles left the 25 year-old trailing only the Suns' David Swallow as the game leader in that respective category. Steele's six clearances also boosted his season total to 44, 13th-best in the AFL. The midfielder has now topped 100 fantasy points in six of his first eight appearances of 2021 and heads into a Round Nine battle with Geelong currently ranked the league's 12th-most productive fantasy option for selection at his position.
27 disposals, seven tackles in loss
MSt Kilda Saints
April 25, 2021
Steele cleared 27 disposals, seven tackles, four clearances and three marks Sunday as St. Kilda fell to Port Adelaide 93-39 at Adelaide Oval.
Steele's 27 disposals (13 kicks, 14 handballs) trailed only Sebastian Ross' 41 as a team-high while his seven tackles left him tied with Rowan Marshall for second-most by a Saints player on the day. The 25 year-old has now registered 100-point fantasy performances in five consecutive outings and, thanks to a total tackle count that ranks fourth-best in the AFL (41), currently sits just outside of the top 10 players in the league for fantasy score per game.
Busy in loss
MSt Kilda Saints
April 15, 2021
Steele collected 26 disposals (nine kicks, 17 handballs) while also logging seven marks and making nine tackles during Thursday's 134-48 loss to Richmond.
Steele had a slightly down performance by his earl-season standards but was still the top Saint during a bad loss. With injuries afflicting many of the other best players from this team, keep looking to Steele as a reliable option, especially against other struggling clubs.
