Tom Papley
Scores one in loss
MSydney Swans
August 6, 2020
Papley scored one goal and two behinds in addition to collecting seven disposals (six kicks, one handball) and making five tackles during Thursday's 50-41 loss to Collingwood.
Papley has scored two behinds in three straight matches and needs to start converting on these chances to raise his value. This also works in favor of those interested in selecting him since his value may not rise as sharply. Papley will continue to focus on scoring goals all season.

Quiet in loss
MSydney Swans
August 1, 2020
Papley scored one goal and two behinds to go with nine disposals and one assist during Saturday's 101-48 loss to Saint Kilda.
Papley had a quiet game, but was also dealing with some personal issues that may have influenced his preparation. He'll look to get back to full speed in the next match against Collingwood.
Scores four against Hawks
MSydney Swans
July 25, 2020
Papley scored four goals and two behinds to go with 11 disposals (10 kicks, one handball) during Saturday's 60-53 win over Hawthorn.
Papley presents amazing value for how dominant of a scorer he is, since he's scored in every Round this season despite negligible time with the footy in his hands. If he can get into the head of his opponents as much as he did Saturday, Papley will be even harder to stop when he starts playing the better teams in the Premiership.
Kicks two majors Sunday
MSydney Swans
July 13, 2020
Papley tallied 10 disposals (seven kicks, three handballs), three marks, two goals, one behind and one tackle in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Tigers.
Papley was the only multiple goal scorer for either team Sunday, highlighting the poor conditions in which the match was played. Despite the weather, the Swans certainly had their chances but were unable to capitalize in the crucial moments. Papley has been arguably the best player for the Swans this season, although his efforts are typically not reflected when breaking down his fantasy numbers.
Swans' best in losing effort
MSydney Swans
June 25, 2020
Papley produced 13 disposals (10 kicks, three marks), eight marks, four goals and two behinds in Thursday's 67-39 loss to the Bulldogs.
Papley kicked four of the five goals for the Swans, single-handedly keeping them at least competitive for periods of the contest. Without their primary target in Lance Franklin (hamstring), Papley has been thrust into a larger role for the Swans and has responded with 10 goals for the season. The Swans currently sit mid-table with a record of 2-and-2 and will look to get back in the winners' circle when they face the Demons next Sunday at the SCG.
Kicks three goals in loss
MSydney Swans
June 14, 2020
Papley produced 11 disposals (six kicks, five handballs), four marks, one tackle, three goals and one behind in Sunday's 79-73 loss to the Bombers.
Papley connected on three of his four shots at goal, helping to keep the Swans competitive Sunday. With Lance Franklin (hamstring) out for the foreseeable future, the likes of Papley are going to have to stand up if the Swans are to kick competitive totals on a weekly basis. Lewis Taylor also chipped in with three goals of his own. Unfortunately, the Swans had no other players with more than one major.
