Clayton Oliver
Scores in loss
MMelbourne Demons
August 22, 2020
Oliver scored one goal and collected 15 disposals (nine kicks, six handballs) while also making seven tackles and completing five clearances during Friday's 80-52 loss to Western Bulldogs.
After a dominant start to August, Oliver's numbers have fallen back towards more normal levels. However, normal for him isn't the same as everyone else, and he's now scored in three of his last four matches. If the Demons are to make the finals, Oliver may need to always push for more touches.

Stars in Wednesday's big win
MMelbourne Demons
August 6, 2020
Oliver produced 34 disposals (17 kicks, 17 handballs), six tackles, five marks and one goal in Wednesday's 88-37 victory over the Crows.
Oliver turned in one of the best individual performances of the season, guiding the Demons to a comfortable 51-point victory. He is having the best season of his career and currently ranks inside the top-10 in basically every statistical category. At only 23 years of age, Oliver still has time to develop, and that in itself should result in him being a fantasy juggernaut for years to come.

Oliver scored one behind to go with 23 disposals (nine kicks, 14 handballs) and eight tackles as well as seven clearances during Thursday's 83-32 loss to Port Adelaide. He was also reported for striking Peter Ladhams in the head.
Oliver tailed off from his dominant form in the previous two matches through the four fouls he conceded, as well as a dangerous strike to the head of an opponent. He'll now await the Match Review Officer to determine his fate for the next match against Adelaide.

MMelbourne Demons
July 26, 2020
Oliver collected 28 disposals (12 kicks, 16 handballs) in addition to making five marks and logging 10 tackles during Sunday's 53-49 loss to Brisbane.
Oliver logged a season-high in tackles and continues to get plenty of time in possession to help keep pace with one of the best clubs in the league. He'll face another tough test against Port Adelaide but will likely play a key role if his team are to get back in the win column.
Massive in win
MMelbourne Demons
July 19, 2020
Oliver collected 29 disposals (16 kicks, 13 handballs) to go with six marks and six tackles during Sunday's 91-48 win over Hawthorn.
Oliver collected his highest disposal and mark tally of the season to dominate a struggling Hawks team. At this point, Oliver and teammate Christian Petracca have become a dynamic duo as they consistently match each other's efforts. More games like this are needed for Over to help his team climb the ladder but they'll have to surpass a tough Brisbane team first.

MMelbourne Demons
June 28, 2020
Oliver collected 23 disposals (10 kicks, 13 handballs) and made six tackles during Sunday's 47-44 loss to Geelong.
After a two-week break, Oliver didn't contribute nearly as much to the course of play. While the rest of his teammates struggled to get their hands on the footy, Oliver at least had a bigger impact than most. Without any unforeseen breaks, Oliver will hope to stay on track against Freemantle.
