Provides plenty of drive in win
FBrisbane Lions
July 18, 2020
McCluggage ended with 17 disposals (13 kicks, four handballs), four marks and one tackle in Saturday's 88-68 victory over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
McCluggage came into Saturday's game under somewhat of an injury cloud after injuring his shoulder the previous week. Despite the concern, McCluggage played his typical allotment of minutes and certainly provided plenty of punch through the midfield. The Lions made a statement in the victory and their ability to control games down the stretch has not gone unnoticed.

Available for Friday
FBrisbane Lions
July 16, 2020
McCluggage (shoulder) will play Friday versus GWS.
ANALYSIS
McCluggage was expected to give it a go despite being listed as a tet for the contest and that will indeed be the case. He's listed in his usual spot at centre alongside Mitch Robinson and Dayne Zorko as part of an unchanged lineup from last week for the Lions.
Likely to play Saturday

Shoulder
July 14, 2020
McCluggage is considered a test due to a shoulder injury but is expected to play in Saturday's match versus GWS, Michael Whiting of the AFL's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
McCluggage injured his shoulder during last Thursday's match versus Geelong but returned to finish the match with a heavily strapped shoulder. The long week between games should work in his favor as McCluggage aims to bounce back from a down fantasy week in Round 7.
Gets goal in win
FBrisbane Lions
July 4, 2020
McCluggage scored one goal and collected 19 disposals from eight kicks and 11 handballs to go with seven tackles during Saturday's 85-48 win over Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
McCluggge wasn't as involved in scoring against the Power, but has performed excellently when the club needs him to step up. With captain Dayne Zorko still dealing with a calf problem, McCluggage may remain a key part of the attack going in the coming Rounds.

FBrisbane Lions
June 28, 2020
McCluggage scored one goal and logged 24 disposals (18 kicks, six handballs) in addition to making six marks and collecting five behinds during Saturday's 83-46 win over Adelaide Crows.
ANALYSIS
McCluggage looks to be in scintillating form with 50 disposals and 10 marks over his last two Rounds. As Dayne Zorko (calf) is still dealing with injury, McCluggage could continue to play a key role for the Lions.
Controlled performance in victory
FBrisbane Lions
June 20, 2020
McCluggage ended with 26 disposals (20 kicks, six handballs), five tackles, four marks and two behinds in Saturday's 74-44 victory over West Coast.
ANALYSIS
With captain Dayne Zorko (Achilles) ruled out, McCluggage turned in a sparkling performance, helping the Lions to a 30 point victory. In what was a tight tussle during the first half, the Lions dominated the third term, kicking five goals to the Eagles' two. McCluggage and Lachie Neale combined for 58 disposals as the Lions midfield took complete control over a disappointing West Coast.
