Powell-Pepper is considered "unlikely" for the Round 1 match against North Melbourne due surgery on a broken bone in his hand, according to Nathan Schmook of
Powell-Pepper scored six majors and logged 77 tackles last season, which aren't bad numbers but seldom yield high-end value. There should be more news on when he could return when Round 1 nears, though for now he'll miss the Community Series match against Adelaide on Saturday.

Powell-Pepper was charged with engaging in rough contact, which resulted in the initial one-match ban. Fortunately, he successfully argued his case and will avoid missing action.

Powell-Pepper received a one-match ban following Saturday's win against the Hawks but will appeal the decision.
Powell-Pepper was charged with engaging in rough contact that resulted in a one-match ban for the midfielder. However, the club will contest the decision Tuesday. If the ban is upheld, Powell-Pepper should be eligible to return Sept. 5 against North Melbourne.

Powell-Pepper finished with 22 disposals (11 kicks, 11 handballs), three marks and one goal in Sunday's 63-46 victory over Greater Western Sydney.
Not unlike Kane Farrell, Powell-Pepper rolled out the red carpet with clearly his best performance of the season. The young midfielder is certainly developing into a key piece for the Power, highlighting the strength of their youth movement. Given the spread of talent on the Power's roster, fantasy production is capped for many players with the ball finding its way through a range of hands on any given week.
