Hurts hamstring in loss
DFremantle Dockers
June 6, 2021
Cox suffered a potentially serious hamstring injury during the Round 12 loss to the Western Bulldogs, according to coach Justin Longmuir. "Potentially (it could be season ending) but we don't need to go there just yet so we will get it scanned and let you know."
Cox may not miss more than a single match but until scans are done, confidence in his his fitness isn't high based on the reports from his coach. With 11.8 disposals per game this season, his fantasy value isn't exactly the highest either.

Cox had to be subbed out in the final quarter of Saturday's 99-48 win over North Melbourne due to an ankle injury, reports.
While skipper Justin Longmuir stated Cox's ankle injury "doesn't look serious at this stage," he noted team doctors would "have to get [the ankle] scanned and see how it pulls up" before determining his status for Round Seven's RAC Derby. The 22 year-old defender had collected 12 disposals, three marks and a clearance and clanger each before departing Saturday's contest.

Head Coach Anthony Rock confirmed Saturday that Cox (hip) is fit once again and is back in the starting lineup for Fremantle on Sunday as they take on Collingwood.
Cox suffered a hip injury back in late June and has been in and out of matches over the last month as a result. After being a late scratch in Round 8, Cox has found his way back into the starting lineup and will hopefully hold his place for the near future.
