August 14, 2020
Sturt (ankle) underwent surgery Thursday and will miss the remainder of the 2020 season.
ANALYSIS
When Sturt left the field in mid-July, it wasn't expected to cost him more than a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, things haven't turned out as planned and the ankle issue will keep him out for the remainder of the campaign. He should have plenty of time to get right ahead of 2021.

July 13, 2020
Fremantle announced Monday that Sturt will be sidelined for at least two weeks with an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
Sturt picked up the injury while training last week and was ruled out ahead of Saturday's 79-73 win over St. Kilda. The midfielder may be able to resume training in some fashion over the next few days, but the Dockers are expected to hold him out through the end of July before clearing him to rejoin the lineup.

Sturt (ankle) will take part in Sunday's match versus Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Sturt was initially expected to miss a month but shaved his absence down to two weeks, suggesting the issue may not have been as severe as was initially believed to be the case. He will slot in as an interchange for the contest, so his fantasy upside may be limited.

June 23, 2020
Sturt will miss around a month after scans confirmed a right ankle sprain suffered Sunday versus Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Sturt sat out Round 2 with a back issue and was only able to make it part of the way through Sunday's tilt before another problem arose. Unfortunately, this one will cost him extended time and leaves Fremantle down a piece in the midfield. Stephen Hill (calf) is listed as a test and could rejoin the lineup in Sturt's place.

June 21, 2020
Sturt sustained an ankle injury in Sunday's 70-41 loss to Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Though Sturt was able to check back into the contest after rolling his ankle, Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir said the midfielder would still be sent in for further scans before his status for the Round 4 match June 27 with Gold Coast is determined. Sturt finished Sunday's loss with two disposals, two kicks, one mark and one tackle.
