Rowell has been sent in for surgery on his dislocated shoulder and is expected to miss at least the next three months, according to Josh Cheadle of the team website.
Rowell is dealing with the first major injury of his young career, and it couldn't come at a worse time for a climbing Suns squad. No timetable has been confirmed, but surgery usually requires at least three months of rehabilitation even before training begins.

Dislocated shoulder confirmed
MGold Coast Suns
July 5, 2020
Rowell underwent scans on his shoulder injury which revealed a dislocation, Jon Ralph of the Herald Sun reports.
The Suns have not yet confirmed whether Rowell will need to undergo immediate surgery to facilitate recovery from his dislocation, but if a procedure is required, it would likely spell an end to the 19-year-old's season. Even if Rowell is able to avoid surgery, he'll likely be sidelined for multiple weeks while he recovers from the dislocated shoulder.
Hurts shoulder in loss
MGold Coast Suns
July 4, 2020
Rowell suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to leave in the first quarter of Saturday's 89-52 loss to Geelong.
Rowell ended up sitting on the bench with his arm in a sling after suffering the knock. Further scans during the week will reveal the seriousness of the injury, and fellow youngster Noah Anderson could play a bigger role if Rowell is out for an extended period of time.

Rowell scored two goals and made 26 disposals ( 11 kicks, 15 handballs) in addition to logging seven tackles during Saturday's 90-46 win over West Coast Eagles.
Rowell was the most impressive player on the field and lead his side to a comprehensive victory. In a match where possession didn't seem to matter much, Rowell played a big role which he will hope to continue going forward.
