May 11, 2021
Murphy (neck) is in line to be available for Sunday's Round 9 matchup with Melbourne, according to Director of High Performance Andrew Russell.
Murphy only needs to pass his tests later in the week to put up his hand after missing Round 8 with a neck issue. He's put up respectable numbers with at least 82 points scored in two of his last three starts and could replace the concussed Jack Silvagni against the 'Dees.

Murphy (neck) will miss Sunday's match versus the Bulldogs, Cristian Filippo of the Blues' official site reports.

Murphy is considered a test for Sunday's match versus Western, Cristian Filippo of the Blues' official site reports.
Murphy sat out the previous round due to a neck issue but seems to have a decent chance to rejoin the action Sunday. Confirmation of his status should come when he's tested later in the week.
Logs 15 disposals in loss

August 9, 2020
Murphy collected 15 disposals (nine kicks, six handballs) and made three marks during Sunday's 72-50 loss to West Coast Eagles.
Murphy has played consistently all season, but his play hasn't been much to talk about as he's topped 20 disposals in one match of his last six. Even with how many injuries have occurred to his teammates, Murphy's production hasn't changed enough to expect more than what he's done so far.

Murphy (hip) has made the group of interchanges for Sunday's match versus Port Adelaide, Cristian Filippo of the team's official site reports.
Murphy's presence in the extended 26-man lineup seemed a fairly clear indication that he was headed for action at some level, but it appears he will indeed be on the AFL side for Sunday's clash with the ladder-leading Power. Murphy has three 20-plus disposal games under his belt this season, but those all came with him in the starting 18.

Murphy (hip) is dealing with some soreness but is expected to be available for Round 7 versus Port Adelaide, Cristian Filippo of the Blues' official site reports.
Murphy exited early in Round 6 because of the hip issue and will require a test to officially remain in contention for selection, but he's expected to pass it and be in the mix again. He's posted a mixed bag of results thus far in 2020 but will aim to get back on track Sunday after a pair of down rounds.
