FCarlton Blues
August 16, 2021
Betts will retire after Round 23 against GWS, it was announced Monday.
Betts will finish with 350 games played from 2005 between Adelaide and Carlton. While he never lit up the scoring charts, Betts was always good for a spectacular goal, and racked up the best goal of the season on four different occasions. After he's gone, it's up to Patrick Cripps and Sam Walsh to lead Carlton into the future.

The 34-year old has now registered eight majors in his last two games and currently ranks seventh in the AFL for goals assists per game (1.5) on the year, but remains a fantasy afterthought thanks to a fantasy score per game average of 51.2.
