Unlikely to play in finale

Steven (hamstring) isn't expected to take part in the Cats' finale versus the Tigers, Tom Morris of Fox Footy reports.
Steven has been sidelined for a while with the hamstring injury, which he suffered in a scratch match. So, even if he does gain clearance of the issue ahead of Saturday's grand finale, it seems likely he won't be included among the team's 22 for the contest.

Ruled out with hamstring strain

Steven was ruled out for Saturday's semifinal matchup against Collingwood due to a hamstring strain, The Age reports.
Steven suffered a hamstring injury during a scratch match over the weekend, and he'll be unavailable for Geelong's matchup Saturday. However, general manager Simon Lloyd didn't rule him out for the remainder of the season, so he could return if the Cats advance.

Steven departed late against Adelaide last week but apparently pulled up without much of an issue overall. He's set to rejoin the action Friday and is listed as an interchange for the contest.

Steven sustained a knee injury during Saturday's match against Adelaide.
Steven played more midfield minutes with Joel Selwood (hamstring) out and made the most of them, tallying 24 disposals Saturday. It wasn't until the final moments of the game that Steven suffered a knock to the knee. The extent of the injury is currently unknown, but he'll hope to return for the club's next match against the Western Bulldogs on Friday.
