MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
Knee
September 11, 2020
Hayden (knee) will not return to the pitch this season, per the AFL's injury list.
ANALYSIS
Hayden was allegedly being managed during his first absence, but it has since evolved to a knee issue that will prevent him from retaking the field again in 2021. He will aim to get right ahead of next season.

Out another round
MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
Rest
August 14, 2020
Hayden (managed) is not in the lineup for Round 12 versus the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Hayden seemed to be a fairly strong bet to rejoin the lineup for Round 12 given the team's indication that he was just being managed for the previous contest, but it appears there may be a bit more behind it and Hayden will skip a second straight match.
Out for rest
MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
Rest
August 4, 2020
Hayden will get the night off Wednesday versus Geelong for mangement.
ANALYSIS
The staff looks to be managing Hayden and a pair of other players during the scrunched schedule over the next couple of weeks. With his night off Wednesday, Hayden should be back in the mix for Sunday's contest versus Melbourne.
Will play in Round 8
MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
July 23, 2020
Hayden (head) is in the lineup for Saturday's clash with the Blues.
ANALYSIS
Despite being stretchered off in the third quarter of last Saturday's match versus Richmond, Hayden has pulled up well and will retain his spot in the lineup. He's slotted in alongside Shaun Atley and Ben McKay in the half back line.
Stretchered off in loss
MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
Head
July 18, 2020
Hayden took an inadvertent elbow to the head in the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Tigers and had to be carried off the field on a stretcher.
ANALYSIS
Hayden took a chance as he tracked back with the flight of the ball and unfortunately caught the elbow of Tom Lynch as they were both trying to make a play. The 21-year-old midfielder stayed down on the ground for several minutes before finally being taken off on a stretcher. Hayden was spotted on the team bench later in the same quarter but he should not be expected to be available for the Kangaroos' net fixture against Carlton on July 24.
Available for Round 2
MNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
June 11, 2020
Hayden (Achilles) has been cleared to retake the field in Round 2 versus the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Hayden's timetable went somewhat undocumented leading up to the contest, but word of his participation in a training session during late May made it seem likely he would be available for the contest. He is listed among the interchanges for Round 2, which may limit his upside slightly.
