Hyperextends right knee
FPort Adelaide Power
July 3, 2021
Farrell left Saturday's 87-53 win over Hawthorn with what is believed to be a hyperextended right knee, The Australian reports.
Farrell went down in the ninth minute of Saturday's match after apparently hyperextending his knee during the course of a tackle. The 22 year-old was replaced by Martin Frederick, who would go on to finish the match with eight disposals, a single mark and the first major of his AFL career. No word yet on the seriousness of Farrell's injury or if / how long he may remained sidelined.
Dynamic performance Sunday
FPort Adelaide Power
July 13, 2020
Farrell produced 19 disposals (11 kicks, eight handballs), six tackles, three marks, two behinds and one goal in Sunday's 63-46 victory over the Giants.
Farrell had his best game of the season, helping the Power to an impressive victory. Putting up season-high numbers across the board, the half-forward was crucial during many of the key moments. The Power were challenged by the Giants throughout, however, managed to fight their way to victory. Having lost only one game all season, the Power now have to be considered serious flag contenders.
