Mosquito injured his knee during Sunday's loss to the Cats and scans have revealed the worst, confirming a torn ACL.
The Bombers fears were confirmed after the exciting young forward was diagnosed with the season-ending injury. Given the rehabilitation for an injury such as this typically takes up to 12 months, there are fears he could out until the start of the 2022 season.

Mosquito suffered a knee injury during Sunday's loss to Geelong.
It's unclear how the rookie suffered the injury, but he was forced to exit the contest without returning. In the match, Mosquito logged six disposals (three kicks and three handballs) and one mark.

Mosquito tallied with eight disposals (five kicks, three handballs), two marks, two tackles, two goals and one behind in Saturday's 73-61 loss to the Tigers.
Playing in his first game of AFL football, Mosquito ended as one of three Bombers players to record multiple goals. He provided plenty of spark for the Bombers and certainly looks to be a player to watch in the future.
