Replaces injured Taylor Walker
MAdelaide Crows
July 3, 2021
Hately combined for seven disposals, two behinds and a single mark and tackle each Saturday as Adelaide fell to Brisbane 111-59 at Adelaide Oval.
ANALYSIS
The rarely-used Hately made just his third appearance of 2021 on Saturday after teammate Taylor Walker went down with a neck strain in the contest's second-quarter. The off-season acquisition exits Round 16 currently averaging just 11.7 disposals, four marks and 2.3 marks a showing on the year, but potentially benefitting from additional playing time should Walker remain sidelined.

Hately made 21 disposals (12 kicks, six handballs) and collected seven marks during Friday's 57-33 loss to Western Bulldogs.
ANALYSIS
Hately was a replacement for Joshua Kelly (calf) and performed capably, though it wasn't enough to get the result. If Joshua Kelly does return against Collingwood, it will be interesting to see if Hately will keep his place in the lineup.
