Mumford totaled 11 disposals (two kicks, nine handballs) and three tackles in Friday's 59-55 victory over Essendon.
Mumford dominated the hitouts Friday, racking another 30 in the come-from-behind victory. After a slow start to the season, Mumford has added some consistency to his game, although his overall fantasy production does leave a little to be desired.

Available for Round 9
RGreater Western Sydney Giants
July 28, 2020
Mumford (neck) is available for selection for the Giants' Round 9 match versus the Suns.
Mumford sat out last week due to a neck issue but should retake his spot as the Giants ruckman Sunday. Even so, the big man doesn't supply much outside of hitouts, leaving his fantasy upside rather low at his position.

Mumford will not play in Friday's match versus Richmond due to a neck injury.
Mumford reportedly injured his neck in last week's clash with Brisbane and hasn't quite gotten back to full strength at this juncture. He will aim to return to the ruck as soon as next week versus Gold Coast, while Sam Jacobs will come into the AFL side to ruck for the Giants.
Struggles in loss

Mumford produced just seven disposals (seven handballs), one mark and zero scoring shots in Saturday's 88-68 loss to Brisbane.
Mumford continues to be retained as the Giants number one ruckman but was unable to reproduce his form from the last few weeks. Mumford can be quite an impactful player but has tendencies to struggle when matched up against more athletic big men. His spot in the lineup is somewhat fraught with uncertainty and so relying on him from week-to-week is tricky, to say the least.
Solid production in recall

Mumford produced nine disposals (two kicks, seven handballs), four tackles and three marks in Friday's 66-64 victory over the Magpies.
Mumford was called into the lineup Friday, playing his first game of the season for the Giants. After not playing in the AFL for almost nine months, Mumford did a stellar job containing Brodie Grundy whilst racking up 17 hit outs and four clearances. Mumford is typically not going to put up big numbers and there is a chance he is used as more of a matchup based selection moving forward.
