Likely to miss semis

October 3, 2020
Ryder will likely miss the semifinals after suffering a hamstring injury in the final moments of Saturday's 67-64 win over Western Bulldogs, according to Callum Twomey of afl.com.
ANALYSIS
Ryder is a sizable loss through his production as a ruck and as a goalscorer. He kicked at least one goal in each of the last five Rounds and topped 20 hitouts in each of the last four. Now, his only chance of playing during the rest of the season will come if the Saints make the grand final.
Better despite loss
FSt Kilda Saints
September 10, 2020
Ryder scored one major and logged one behind while also completing 22 hitouts and collecting 13 disposals (10 kicks, three handballs) during Thursday's 65-50 loss to West Coast Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Ryder put up a better fight against Nic Naitanui to produce one of his better showings of the season. Though talented, Ryder hasn't been the most productive and his contributions to hitouts have helped slightly. He'll have to step up his game in the next Round against GWS to keep his team in the finals.
Returning to starting lineup
FSt Kilda Saints
August 15, 2020
Ryder (undisclosed) is back in the starting fold for the Saints after a one-game absence.
ANALYSIS
It was unclear as to what forced Ryder to miss the team's last contest but he will be good to go for Sunday's match and will try to get on the scoreboard after failing to register a goal in his prior two outings.
Ruled out Monday

August 10, 2020
Ryder will not play Monday against the Cats after being ruled out prior to the first bounce, according to Fox Footy.
ANALYSIS
Ed Phillips will come into the side for Monday's clash against the Cats, replacing Ryder who was a late scratch. This will be Phillips' second game of the season, making him a risky play in most formats.
Scores two in win
FSt Kilda Saints
July 25, 2020
Ryder scored two goals to go with 10 disposals (four kicks, six handballs) and logged 29 hitouts during Saturday's 73-44 win over Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Ryder finally had a good day and it helped the Saints topple the top team on the ladder. This is the kind of performance Ryder could start making on a regular basis as long as he continues to get a good share of the hitouts with the other ruck, Rowan Marshall.
