DraftKings LoL: Thursday LPL Cheatsheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 2:00 a.m: Dominus eSports vs. Team WE
  • 4:00 a.m: Invictus Gaming v. LGD Gaming
  • 6:00 a.m: Suning v. Funplus Phoenix

DMO (1-3) vs. WE (2-2)

This started to become a really chalky slate until the news came out that Plex for Team WE isn't starting. Plex is a key piece to this WE team and the edge we will have is going with DMO. I stated that DMO is the team to play spoiler against good teams and beat the middle of the pack or bad teams. Xiye for DMO is starting against his former team, and the revenge narrative is real here. DMO are a good up-tempo team and usually have solid decision makings when it goes to mid to-late-game, which WE lacks.

Prediction: DMO 2-1

Bets: DMO ML (+145)

Invictus Gaming (4-0) vs. LGD (1-3)

IG should smash in this spot, as I believe they are the best team right now. This is a game to target with a four-man or three-man stack, depending how you want to build your lineup. Most of their kills come from their solo laners TheShy and Rookie. Shockingly, aside from the last game they played, Puff is the one who wasn't getting the most kills due to the lack of team fighting he needs to be in. IG flexes on their opponents hard, and we are seeing the old world champs IG where they will troll on style on teams. IG historically loves to drop at least one game against

IG historically loves to drop at least one game against inferior teams, but it doesn't mean they are going to lose.

Prediction: Invictus gaming 2-0

Bets: LGD +1.5 (+145) good line if you think IG can drop a game which I think they could.

FPX (3-3) vs. SN (2-2)

Last match up the night is between Suning and FPX. This is a solid matchup between a newly formed SN with the pickup of huanfeng, who I have touted all year. He is finally getting his chance to shine at the LPL level,e and he hasn't disappoindt. Suning is doing what RNG did with UZI, in that they funnel resources to Huanfeng to get him ahead to carry games. This may work with some teams but not against FPX, who should be able to exploit this by leaving Gimgoon to handle top alone while having world class DoinB and Tian roam bottom to get LWX ahead. DoinB has had a nearly 100 percent kill participation and is a huge core of this team to set up fights and is an amazing leader overall. FPX plays a style that Suning can't handle, and I believe they take care of business here.

Prediction: FPX 2-0

Bets: None

I'm going to try something new to make things a little more clear on who the players ill be using in my lineup.
